A gang of Albanian robbers in Greece have been arrested by police who are believed to be the perpetrators of several thefts on the island of Mykonos.
According to Greek media, 4 Albanians were robbing tourist apartments in different neighborhoods of Mykonos. According to Greek authorities, they had taken items worth around 138 thousand Euros.
The gang of Albanian robbers was identified thanks to footage from apartment security cameras. It turns out that they committed 10 thefts and 3 attempted ones between August 6-20.
The gang would hit tourist homes and accommodations at night. They would use rented vans to get to their targets. They would break windows and doors, enter the homes, and take money, jewelry, clothes, shoes, and expensive accessories.
They hid some of the stolen goods in rocks, places they used temporarily to leave their belongings. Meanwhile, in the place where they were staying, the police found some stolen items, 3,395 euros, Swiss francs, 4 cell phones, etc.
