In the framework of the anti-drug operation that is taking place in several cities of the country in Elbasan, it is reported that 7 people have been arrested and 5 have been declared wanted.
A policeman was among those arrested.
Officer Saimir Hysa has been put in handcuffs on charges of abuse of office and supporting the perpetrator of the crime.
Glidi Ballolli, Frencesk Braho, Evis Duzha, Rapi Malaj, Saimir Rexhepi and Steven Faqolli have also fallen into custody. Arrests in Elbasan, those arrested on charges of drugs, illegal weapons and trafficking of gold works.
Meanwhile, a large anti-drug operation is taking place this Thursday in Tirana and several other cities of the country.
The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has signed at least 112 arrest warrants and so far 70 of them have been executed.
Also, up to these moments, it is reported that more than 3 kg of cocaine have been seized. Meanwhile, during the operation, a new type of drug was found which came from abroad, mainly by mail.
Sources also say that hundreds of doses of cannabis were seized and large sums of money were seized. In this criminal activity of distributing narcotics, it is learned that there are also girls involved.
In addition to Tirana, the operation was carried out in other cities where RENEA and FNSH forces carried out checks in Fier, Durrës and Korçë.
