Another suspect was charged today for the murder of 38-year-old Albanian Selavdi Shehaj.
The young man was executed with several bullets on a beach on the Italian coast.
The charge is that of complicity in murder, the same one for which Giuseppe Molisso, Raul Esteban Calderon and Enrico Bennato are already on trial in Frosinone. The Italian media write that he is the sixth person involved in the mafia ambush of Torvajanica and it is about an Albanian.
On September 20, 2020, Simone, Shehaj's alias, also known as Passerotto, was executed in the Bora Bora factory.
Two shots to the neck caused the fatal blow. The perpetrators of the murder were Bennato and Calderon, the latter who is also on trial in Rome as the murderer of Piscitelli.
The Argentine had planned Passerotto's murder together with Giuseppe Molisso, a man from the Sienese clan, also suspected of being behind the crime against Diabolik. Guido Cianfrocca, who fired a gun, and Luca De Rosa, who, according to the Rome Prosecutor's Office, provided the motorcycle used to commit the murder, are also accused of the fatal shooting on the beach.
Among Simone's contacts are those with several members of the Albanian group, allies of Piscitelli. The same group that, according to recent documents, was organized to avenge the death of Diablo, attributed to Molisso and Leandro Bennato. The assassination of Passerotto was part of this conflict. The sentence will be handed down on June 3.
