
A 41-year-old, member of a criminal group that used foreign nationals for prostitution during the period 2008-2012 in Milan, has been detained at the entrance of the Republic of Albania at Rinas airport.
The 41-year-old was detained for the purpose of extradition to Italy, where he was sentenced to over 4 years in prison for this criminal activity.
The 41-year-old turns out to be a person with 5 different identities, such as Auron Hashani alias Auron Samurri alias Auron Ajdinaj alias Avni Ajdinaj alias Elvis Ajdinaj.
The police informs that they are following the procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Italy, where he has to serve 3 years, 11 months and 11 days of imprisonment.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions.
" As a result of detailed entry/exit checks and interviews and the exchange of information provided by them, between the services of Interpol Tirana and their Italian counterparts, the coded police operation "Identities" was finalized, during which the services of the Rinas Police Station they stopped at the entrance to the country, a citizen declared internationally wanted.
The court of Milan has sentenced the 41-year-old to 4 years, 2 months and 26 days of imprisonment, for the criminal offense "Exploitation of prostitution", committed within the criminal group, according to the provisions of the Italian Criminal Code. This citizen, in cooperation with other citizens, has exploited 2 foreign citizens for prostitution in Milan ", the police announcement states.
