Aleko Myrtollari, the 46-year-old man who stabbed his wife Marjola Myrtollari, gave his testimony to the police. During the interrogation, the perpetrator stated that the conflict with his wife Marjola happened because the latter did not want to work.
According to Aleko Myrtollari's testimony, he asked his wife to look for a job, while she, according to him, refused to work, demanding that only her husband work to support the children and the family.
According to the 46-year-old, this was the reason that the conflict degraded and ended in the serious injury of his wife, the 38-year-old, who continues to be in a serious state of health in the Trauma Hospital.
It should be noted that the perpetrator of the crime, Aleko Myrtollari, has managed to evade police checks since Saturday when the incident occurred, while yesterday he was handed over to the Korça Police Station, after his family members convinced him to end his escape.
