3 young men were arrested by the Tirana police, after they were caught in the act while transporting a bag containing 7.3 kilograms of cannabis.
According to the police, Genti Peca, 18 years old, Igli Kuçi, 22 years old, both residents of Vorë, and Agron Kaci, 20 years old, resident of Dibër, were arrested.
"The operation, carried out by Police Station No. 7 (Vorë), in cooperation with the Narcotics Investigation Section of DVP Tirana. 7 kg and 300 grams of suspected narcotic substance cannabis were seized. 3 citizens who were caught in the act were arrested transporting the narcotic substance, for the purpose of sale.
Services of Police Station No. 7 (Vorë), in cooperation with the specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section of DVP Tirana, following the operations to attack criminal activities in the field of narcotics, supported by operational intelligence, for a case of distribution of narcotics, have organized and have finalized the police operation codenamed "Collaboration".
As a result of this operation, citizens GP, 18 years old, IK, 22 years old, both residents of Vorë, and AK, 20 years old, resident of Dibër, were caught and arrested red-handed on Limuth Street, for the criminal offense of "Production and the sale of narcotics".
During the intervention by the Police services, these three citizens were caught red-handed transporting, on foot, a bag inside which there was suspected narcotic substance cannabis, weighing about 7 kg and 300 grams. The narcotic substance was seized as material evidence.
During the search in the apartment of the citizen AK, in Dibër, the services of the DVP Dibër found and seized another 1 kg of suspected narcotic cannabis. Work is being done to identify other citizens involved in this criminal activity. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions," the police announced.
