
21-year-old footballer Yvan Zouzou has been arrested in Tirana, after providing forged tourist visas for foreign citizens.
The purpose of the falsified visas was to enter Albania and then illegally cross into EU countries against payment.
The police seized 13 suspected forged visas, transfer mandates, other documents and 2 mobile phones.
It is reported that the investigation has begun in the state of freedom for two others, who are suspected of helping the football player for this activity.

Two other citizens are being prosecuted, as they allegedly helped the 21-year-old.

The Illegal Traffic Investigation Specialists of DVP Tirana, following the work to prevent and attack the illegal activity of providing assistance to foreign citizens, for illegal crossing of borders with EU countries, through transit in Albanian territory, based and in the information provided during the operation, they have hit a case of this criminal activity, within the coded police operation "Visa".
During the operation, the citizen YZ, 21 years old, resident in Tirana, was detained, as well as the citizens Sh. S., 43 years old, resident in Tirana, and IB, 27 years old, resident in Germany.
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that the citizen YZ provided suspected forged visas, against payment, for foreign citizens, mainly from the Middle East, to enter Albania, with the aim of illegally crossing the borders with neighboring countries, to then cross in other EU countries", the police announced.
