Two people have been sentenced to 20 years in prison each for the attempted murder of Agron Hoxha, an event that occurred for revenge motives. At the request of the Fier Prosecutor's Office, they were found guilty of the criminal offenses of "Premeditated murder", attempted, committed in collaboration, and "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".
According to the investigations, in December 2019, in the Dukas-Breg area of Patos, VD (alias L) in collaboration with AG organized the attack on Hoxha, with the aim of revenge for the murder of VD's brother. At that time, Agron Hoxha had just been released from prison.
The two perpetrators fired at him, but as a result of the attack, Hoxha was wounded in his left arm.

At the request of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier, the defendants VD alias L and AG were found guilty and sentenced to 20 years in prison each for the criminal offenses of "Premeditated murder", attempted and committed in collaboration, and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" provided for in articles 78/2, 22, 25 and 278/1 of the Criminal Code.
At the end of the investigations into criminal proceedings no. 1795 of 2019, it was proven that the defendant VD alias L., with the intention of avenging the murder of his brother GL, collaborated with the defendant AG to commit the murder of citizen AH. For this purpose, on 30.12.2019, at around 17:50, at the place called "Dukas-Breg", Patos, the defendant AG, after ascertaining the identity of the target, approached and fired three times with a firearm in his direction. As a result of the attack, citizen AH was injured, suffering gunshot wounds to his left arm.
In the following, the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier expresses its full commitment and the legal responsibility of persons who commit criminal offenses against life and health.
