The Police Supervision Agency has arrested two police officers in Gjirokastër, while a third is being sought, as they are accused of abuse of duty.
It is known that Alfred Kondi, the head of the organized crime sector in Gjirokastër, and Feim Onjea, the driver of the former Police Director Ardian Çipa, have been arrested.
AMP announces that it has implemented the prohibition orders set by the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Gjirokastër against:
-Chief Commissioner Alfred Kondi, Head of the Organized Crime Sector in the Police Directorate of Vlora and Gjirokastra, who is suspected of the criminal offenses "Abuse of duty" and "Abuse of police authority", committed in cooperation.
- Deputy Commissioner Xhevit Dine, Specialist in the Intelligence and Criminal Archive Section, also suspected of "Misuse of duty" in cooperation.
-Inspector Feim Onjea, part of the Shqiponja special force, suspected of "Abuse of duty" and "Abuse of police authority" in collaboration. He is currently wanted.
Also, two citizens were detained for the criminal offenses of "Smuggling" and "Forgery of documents".
-Bledar Mustafaraj, customs officer at the Kakavija customs branch, suspected of "Forgery of documents" and "Smuggling by employees related to customs activity".
-Ili Muho and Kleodor Kazo, suspected of "Smuggling with other goods" and "Forgery of seals, stamps and forms" carried out in collaboration.
Several months of investigations using special methods documented with legal evidence the involvement of citizens in the criminal offense of trafficking illegal immigrants, the favoring of various citizens in the smuggling of goods and the organization of games of chance in the form of sports betting, with the aim of profiting in illegal manner of monetary values.
It was also proven that the police officers using the organic function and the attributes that the task gives you, in different periods have influenced in allowing the exercise of illegal activities by different citizens.
An ML type vehicle and four mobile devices were seized as material evidence.
