Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has called on Prime Minister Edi Rama to resign and for the country to head towards elections from the Parliament's rostrum.
Berisha requested a debate with the Prime Minister regarding the arrest of Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj, on the orders of SPAK.
"This was a great day for Albanians... They forget that there is a God in this country, that the opposition will fight its battle until the end."
Your time is up, so Rama should come here, have a broad debate, and resign so that the country can move towards elections.
"They arrested Veliaj for doing favors for so-and-so, but what favors did Rama do... Rama's cronies with arrest warrants have received tens of millions of tenders without competition," said Berisha.
What is striking about the plenary session is that almost all the ministers are absent from the hall. Only ministers Taulant Balla, Pirro Vëngu and Anila Denaj are present.
