Balla asked to testify behind closed doors, Salianji objects: There are no

The Chairman of the Investigative Commission for the handling of the data of the "TIMS" system, Ervin Salianji, has rejected the request of the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, that the meeting during his testimony take place behind closed doors.

He says that we are not examining any state documents and that there are no secrets.

"We are not in the conditions where the commission will examine any state document. There is no secret, the documents have been administered", said Salianji during his speech.

In his request, Balla emphasizes that the "TIMS" case is the subject of a criminal investigation and therefore the data cannot be made public due to the investigative needs related to this ongoing criminal proceeding.
