Bujar Leskaj has broken Sali Berisha's order not to comment on the US lobbying contract, publishing a long article on social media in the middle of the night, where he expresses his support for the contract and accuses the government.
Leskaj writes, among other things, that the "Albanian-American foundation "Making Albania Great Again", led by Nuredin Seci, based in New York, signed a service contract with the American lobbying company Continental Strategy, to support the Democratic Party in its strategy of rapprochement with the Trump II administration and to strengthen institutional ties with the United States of America.
He explains the political and even "patriotic" motives of the contract, while not providing details on how this money was obtained.
" Through the contract with Continental Strategy, the Democratic Party guarantees the building of strong relationships with key decision-makers in the US government and Congress. This initiative aims to promote democracy, strengthen the rule of law and support anti-corruption initiatives in Albania (produced largely by the Rama sect in these 12 years), placing our country on an irreversible path towards Western standards ," writes Leskaj.
He even adds that "important figures from the Trump administration, such as Carlos Trujillo, Alex Garcia and Alberto Martinez, were involved in the implementation of this contract."
But for Leskaj, this is a commitment and it shows the fact of Rama's isolation from strategic partners.
"This high-level commitment guarantees that the Albanian democratic cause will be represented with seriousness and professionalism before the most important institutions in Washington. At the same time, the contract emphasizes the isolation of Edi Rama from American strategic partners, marking a clear change in Washington's approach to the political reality in Albania. President Trump's administration now clearly supports the democratic alternative represented by the Democratic Party. Rama is a puppet of Soros ," writes Leskaj.

The contract reaffirms the historical orientation of the Democratic Party and its leader Prof. Dr. Sali Berisha towards a strategically stable relationship with the US, a key principle that has guided this political force since its founding in 1990.
The invitation of Prof. Dr. Sali Berisha to participate in the 2025 Congress of European People's Parties in Valencia is another proof of the strong return of the Democratic Party to the international arena.

The contract with Continental Strategy is more than a lobbying agreement; it is a strategic platform for strengthening Albanian democracy, for closer rapprochement with the United States, and for building a just, democratic, and Western Albania.
Thanks to this contract and the support of the Albanian-American diaspora, the Democratic Party enters a new phase of strength and legitimacy in its battle to restore democracy and the rule of law in Albania.
