The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has revealed the reasons that led him to return to politics. During his speech at the DP National Assembly, Berisha pledged that he will take full responsibility for the protection of democracy in Albania.
Berisha emphasized that his decision to return was neither for power nor for luxury, and he even added that he was not interested in either in his youth.
Berisha said that after a fulfilling career, he decided to work on a new legacy for the DP and the Albanian conservatives.
"The third Berisha should surpass the first and second several times, thus creating a new and strong base for the future of the party and all conservative forces in the country," said the leader of the DP.
