The General Secretary of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, has argued with the analyst Lorenc Vangjeli, regarding the latter's comments, that the actions of the opposition in the Assembly these weeks are similar to those of last fall.
Invited to the show 'Log', on News24, Noka rejected this comparison, explaining that the opposition's action at that time was aimed at recognizing constitutional rights, while now they are fighting for more important issues for the country and democracy.
"We did not enter to overthrow the regime then, but to protect the rights of the opposition. Now, we are committed to a new cause, to a vital issue for democracy, which has been suffocated by Edi Rama, " said Noka.
Analyst Vangjeli, on the other hand, focused on the upcoming elections, suggesting that the opposition needs to overcome its barriers to have a chance to win. He emphasized that if the opposition continues to isolate itself in an ever smaller electoral space, it will face the risk of remaining in the opposition next year as well.
In one part of the discussion, Vangjeli compares the current situation with last year, asking a question about the winners of this political war. He suggested that while serious problems exist, a wrong strategy could damage the opposition further.
" The chair revolution started with the imprisonment of Salianj. The opposition must review its approach, otherwise it will lose even more," concluded Vangjeli.
