The draft law on the fiscal agreement has sparked a wide-ranging debate on the transparency of the list of businesses that benefit. SP MP Erion Braçe spoke about the content of the draft law and his objections to the Minister of Finance, Petrit Malaj. Braçe said that he was in favor of Bozdo's proposal that the names of the beneficiaries of the amnesty be made public.
" The fine is not extinguished or forgiven. Bankers is under criminal investigation. It does not benefit from the fiscal peace agreement from beginning to end. There are two laws that are considered amnesty. The law on the extinguishment of fiscal obligations 10 years in advance, for the 2014-2019 period, has a favorable scheme for those who will pay immediately.
The Economy Committee made two fundamental changes yesterday. We have extended the obligations. The second one has to do with transparency, it was a proposal by Bozdo and was supported by me and the entire body of deputies. Those who are heavily indebted to the state and benefit will be public. They benefit, it is published. We also come to fiscal peace, I cannot accept it, I am against it. How long have you been in business, you have earned and you have not paid. For me, there should be no cancellation of obligations. In my opinion, the law is not well written, regardless of the purpose ," Braçe said in Top Story.
