Lulzim Basha gave himself and his supporters a 2-day deadline and on Friday at 14:00 he will hold the meeting that is expected to seal his political fate, after losing the seal of the Democratic Party on Tuesday at the Court of Appeal.
Basha is considering all possibilities, but the members of the presidency who deal with legal and electoral issues in his group, have advised him not to waste any more time with the battle for recourse to the Supreme Court.
The biggest possibility is the creation of a new party, but the decision will be made tomorrow based on the membership situation and the leaks to the Democratic Party led by Sali Berisha, after the transfer of the seal from Basha to the former prime minister under house arrest.
