The chairman of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, has spoken about several interceptions of Sky ECC which, according to him, prove the connection between important exponents of the socialist majority and organized crime for interference in the justice system or the State Police.
Asked in "Opinion" what kind of wiretapping they are talking about, Bardhi said that "it is about data that has not been published until now for the simple fact that it is protected by investigative secrecy".
" It is proven that important exponents of the majority not only cooperate, very high-level, government members among them definitely, how they help exponents already public and proven by SPAK of organized crime in the issues they have with justice. They intervene in prosecutors, in police officers ", added Bardhi.
He said that he did not publish this data, which according to him SPAK also has, to give the prosecution the necessary time to do its work. But if the prosecution does not act, Bardhi said that the data will be published because of the high public interest they have.
" Be sure that the data will be made public because the public interest prevails. If there are prosecutors in this country who want to hide the links between crime and government, the fact that important exponents with power in Albania help or intervene to help dangerous exponents of organized crime so that they are not harmed by the word country, wealth, this constitutes an issue with public interest and I am in politics to protect the public interest. I am giving the necessary time to the prosecution to do its job. I want the institutions to function according to the rules of this country. If they fail to fulfill their mission, I will fulfill the mission as a representative of the citizens ", said Bardhi.
And now the question arises as to how much time Bardhi will give SPAK before publishing the data. Initially, he expressed his belief that the prosecution will act and that there is no set deadline for this. However, he emphasized that the prosecution does not need much to read what is in front of it.
" If SPAK needs a year to read what it has, I will definitely get the message that there is a clear attempt by the prosecution to hide these data ," said Bardhi.
