Prime Minister Edi Rama has remembered to take a stand regarding the arrest of 3 Kosovo policemen by the Serbian gendarmerie.
Yesterday Rama decided not to speak with the argument that he was waiting for KFOR's version, but today he reacted with a few lines on Twitter and demanded their release. What stands out is that at no point is the action of the Serbian army condemned. Rama is satisfied with the fact that they must be released.
" 1. Apparently, KFOR will not come out with public conclusions about the location of the three Kosovo policemen.
2. Despite various claims of location, they must return home as soon as possible!
3. Since yesterday we are 100% focused on their release!
4. There is no parallel between the three policemen and the person with criminal records arrested by the Kosovo police in the North!
5. De-escalation remains the priority of priorities and the points set by the Euro-Atlantic community must be fulfilled an hour or so before , "writes Rama.
A day ago, Rama surprised everyone with his reaction. He stated that he would not talk about the arrest of 3 policemen, until he had a statement from KFOR if they were arrested inside or outside the territory of Kosovo. Even though they were abducted in an inhumane manner, with their eyes and hands tied, the prime minister still expressed that he did not take a stand. Today there were harsh reactions from the opposition. Many foreign dignitaries also condemned the arrest. In this situation, the head of the government remembered to take a half attitude.
