Government scandals, Tabaku calls for the unity of the opposition: Time to

The majority that today tries to take advantage of the alleged support for the Justice Reform, was the first to also attack and obstruct the parliamentary investigation into the incinerator affair...

Since yesterday, the political history of Albania is no longer the same. For the first time in thirty years, a deputy prime minister is today in front of the dock, while an affair that costs Albanians 430 million euros continues to be revealed daily in its full extent of corruption.

Anyone who glances at the incinerator investigation files notices a state handbook seized from head to toe. The readiness of an army of civil servants up to the heads of the ministries and not only them, to implement one by one the orders and wishes of two people whose greatest skill was their "friends".

For four consecutive years the story of the incinerators was ignored and their main whistleblowers were attacked by the government while the media close to it ignored or attacked anyone who denounced. In a captured state, money and power have a very close relationship with each other. The more power you have, the more money you make and the more you try to pay public lawyers to silence political opponents.

Unfortunately, the power of the majority and the money of the incinerators created the image and the idea that Albania was actually being cleansed and that the denunciations of the opposition and anyone else were not just slander. The truth was completely the opposite. But the power and money of a captured state that had set in motion the entire bureaucracy for an incinerator in Elbasan from the office computers on the 13th floor of the Sky Tower, had the opportunity to buy news and advocacy.

The majority that today tries to take advantage of the supposed support for the Justice Reform, was the first to also attack and obstruct the parliamentary investigation into the incinerator affair. Even the members of this majority were the ones who voted for the closure of this commission, wanting to leave the investigative work that had just started in between.

The prime minister himself in every public appearance has defended the incinerators and their procedures with his figure but also with his voice in his remarks to journalists and the opposition, stating that he was interested in the cleanliness they brought. A purity that was actually dirty and floating in a river of corruption.

The story of continuous defense to the point of denying the truths that every Albanian has seen, continued even after more than 60 hours of hearings in the commission of inquiry with various witnesses who proved the undeniable fact of a corruption affair. It continued even when SPAK arrested not only the former Minister of the Environment, the former deputy of the SP, as it continued even after the three beneficial owners of the incinerators are currently wanted internationally.

Even, ironically, these payments continue a day after the country's prime minister clarified that he had decided to vote in favor of removing the mandate for the former deputy prime minister. According to him, the evidence presented by SPAK speaks of his close ties with the people who are currently being sought and who also still receive millions of euros from Albanian taxes.

The story of the incinerators is also the tragedy of our country, which is emptied daily of talents and talents as the meritocracy of this government is overturned. The skilled and good at work never wins, but the one who is the realtor of corruption. Honesty has become a vice for this government as the parliament convenes once a year to review the mandates of an MP linked to affairs or something else.

The future that offers a true and honest battle against corruption, against monopolies, against oligarchy, against the captured state. Of a country that offers market freedom, competition, war against monopolies and corruption to restore to Albania an energy that is missing and destroyed by this majority that promotes and ultimately protects the real estate agents of corruption.
