Analyst Baton Haxhiu says that the terrorist group in Kosovo that killed a member of the Kosovo Police is rebelling against the Serbian President Vucic and the institutions of Kosovo.
Invited to the show Opinion, Haxhiu thinks that this situation happened because of the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, which according to him is at the end of this process.
"It is the end of the process, it means there is an agreement. This deal makes these people worthless. For the first time, all those killed were killed by Kosovo Police snipers and are photographed. We gave the first news about 3 killed because we had communication with people who were at the point of action. We have friends and we have tremendous experience for the special unit and they got the first target and the first permission to attack sometime in the morning.
The group that entered here, I think the politically rebellious group with a secret service background that had Russian and other formations touches. There were also Russian mercenaries. The group that is has 2 rebellions. The first is against Vucic and the second is against the institutions of Kosovo and they want their presence in the north, playing the role of those formations that we called ANSH. These are the radical group within the institutions of Serbia", he said.
According to analyst Haxhiu, such an attack was expected to happen. He says that the Government of Kosovo also had information about an attack that could happen, but adds that maybe not of this magnitude. He also said that the Serbian terrorist group aimed at the total destabilization of northern Kosovo.
"The Government of Kosovo had information a few weeks earlier that such a thing was being prepared. And we have been waiting for it. The fact that there was a political stalemate between Serbia and Kosovo was only waiting for the day when the attack on the Kosovo Police would begin. We were only afraid of which policemen would actually die. The Kosovo Police is at risk in every part of the north of Kosovo. They are the first victims. This military formation has really entered for the total destabilization of the north", declared the analyst.
Baton Haxhiu analyzes that the Serbian terrorist group took refuge inside the Banjska monastery with the intention of sacrificing themselves. However, Haxhiu appreciates the professional work of the Kosovo Police.
"There is a certain opinion of a Serbian citizen that a sacrifice inside a religious institution is sacred and when they entered the monastery, the first analysis was that they entered to sacrifice. The mistake of underestimating the Kosovo Police, who are extremely well trained by internationals. Why does the Kosovo Police have extraordinary merits? He did not attack anyone inside the monastery because the Serbs would rebel. The police force does not dare to enter the monastery without an agreement. They thought, I assume, that they would attack the Kosovo Police forces and that's where their plan would be realized. The monastery has a tunnel, and the place where the monastery is located is unsuitable for war. Perhaps the worst possible in Kosovo. Because they thought there would be a war, The Kosovo Police decided to surround the perimeter and not shoot inside the monastery and the first 3 were killed from the beginning.
