The tripartite meeting between Kosovo and Serbia has started with the mediation of the EU. The chief negotiators of Kosovo and Serbia, Besnik Bislimi and Petar Petkovic, are holding a tripartite meeting in Brussels with the European Union envoy for dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.
After the bilateral meetings that the envoy of the bloc held with the representatives of both countries initially, to find ways to implement the agreements passed on the way to the normalization of relations, reports Telegrafi.
This is the first tripartite meeting in more than three months, since in the recent meetings, Bislim and Petkovic had not reached an agreement to meet together.
The spokesperson of the EU, Peter Stano, speaking a day before the meetings in the framework of the dialogue, had said that holding a joint meeting would depend on the will of the parties.
At the last meeting in September, Lajcak failed to convince Bislim and Petkovic to hold a tripartite meeting, as they had disagreements on the topics they would like to discuss.
