The Central Election Commission of Kosovo has approved the activity plan and budget for the early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo on June 7. According to the Commission, the election campaign will start on May 28, while organizing the elections will cost over 10 million 800 thousand euros.
The planned and approved budget for the organization of these elections is exactly 10,887,186,445 euros.
At Friday's meeting, the CEC decided to set deadlines and approved the plan of activities for the organization of early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo, which includes, among others: declaration of political parties for participation/non-participation in the elections; declaration of political parties for the formation of coalitions; application for certification of political entities; submission of candidate lists and their verification; election campaign period; designation of voting centers, including diplomatic missions; registration of voters inside and outside Kosovo; period of voting by mail and at diplomatic missions; certification of the voter list; accreditation of observers and media; as well as appointment of members of the 38 Municipal Election Commissions and polling station councils.
