A serious incident happened on Monday in Ferizaj, where a man shot 4 passers-by with a knife. In the media of Kosovo, there have also been photos of passers-by confronting the armed person.
As it is known, three of the four injured persons are being treated at the Emergency Clinic at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (QKUK).
The director of the Emergency Clinic at KKUK, Naser Syla, has announced that one of the victims, aged around 10 years, is in serious condition.
"There are three, one is in serious condition, in the operating room, from the care team of Anesthesia, Thoracic Surgery and Children's Surgery, she is about 10 years old," Syla said.
"It is in serious condition, in danger of life, it is being operated in the hall," he explained, adding that the other two injured are in stable condition and out of danger of life.
The Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, expressed his gratitude to the KKUK staff for the quick intervention.
"Thanks to the quick response from the Emergency Clinic, I heard the good news that the condition of the 10-year-old girl is stable and out of danger. The condition of the other persons is mostly stable, except for the person who, despite being in rehabilitation here, may also need a surgical intervention," said Vitia.
The serious incident took place today around 15:40 in Ferizaj, where an adult person in still unclear circumstances attacked four passers-by with a knife, causing serious bodily injuries.
