"Trump Mobile," the company launched this year by Donald Trump's family, has begun selling refurbished phones, but at prices significantly higher than the market, according to "The Independent."
While supporters of the US president are still waiting for the promised "T1" model, the company has put up for sale used iPhone and Samsung models, which cost up to $225 more than on Amazon or Best Buy.
The new catalog includes the "iPhone 15", "iPhone 16", "Samsung Galaxy S23" and "S24", all renovated and with only one color option, black.
The much-talked-about "T1" model, the "American" phone that was supposed to cost $499, still has no launch date.
It was previously criticized after the company was forced to remove the "Made in the USA" claim because technology experts pointed out that there is no capacity to produce a smartphone 100% within the US state.
In addition to phones, Trump Mobile is also promoting a Trump-branded SIM service plan.
Initial testing by American media has described the service as acceptable, but without any distinctive features to justify the price or political branding.
Meanwhile, many internet users have noticed that the language used in the company's advertisements resembles texts generated by artificial intelligence, with overused slogans and inaccurate promises.
