Sinead O'Connor's cause of death has finally been confirmed as "natural causes".
O'Connor, best known for her fantastic version of 'Nothing Compares 2 U', died of a combination of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma, the Irish Independent reported. The singer was also battling a respiratory infection at the time of her death.
Deadline previously reported that O'Connor died of natural causes. However, no further details were given and no one took much notice of it.
London's Metropolitan Police previously said the death was not being treated as "suspicious".
It's been a year since the Irish singer died after being found "unconscious" in her London apartment.
The singer converted to Islam and previously stated, "I've always instructed my children since they were very young: 'If your mother dies tomorrow before you call 911, call my accountant and make sure the record companies don't start publishing my data and not telling you where the money is. ,'"
