Kendall Jenner has tried to put an end to the rumors that have been circulating online for years about her sexuality, speaking publicly for the first time on the subject. The model and TV personality, daughter of Kris and Caitlyn Jenner, admitted that she is very aware that there is "a whole side of the internet" that believes she is hiding something from her audience, but clarified that this speculation does not correspond to reality.
Jenner, a guest on Owen Thiel's In Your Dreams podcast, noted that what bothers her most is not the rumors themselves, but the way they're expressed. As she put it: There's a whole section of the internet that thinks I'm a lesbian. Do you want me to tell you what really bothers me? How bad they are about it. It's not a hug like, 'hey, if you were, yeah, come on.' It's not polite. It's really bad. It's a lot like, 'what the hell are you doing?'
She then clarified that she does not identify as a lesbian, but stressed that if she did, she would not hide it. Referring to the difficulty many people face when asked to speak openly about their sexuality, she said: I understand that coming out is not easy for anyone, if not most. And I'm not saying it's easy, but knowing myself - and I can speak for myself here - knowing myself, I think at this point in my life, I would be open if I were. I'm not saying it's easy. I'm just saying that knowing myself and knowing how I would like to live my life, I would be. I wouldn't have a problem being that way.
She also said she doesn't understand why some people insist on the scenario that she's hiding something for image or "brand" reasons. As she put it: I think there's a whole narrative that I'm hiding this... I've seen really crazy things that say 'it's bad for business.' And I'm like 'what? How?' I don't get it.
To conclude with her stance today: All of this to say that, to this day, I am not. I don't think I will be, but I'm not closing the doors to experiences in life.
In the past, Jenner has been publicly linked to celebrities, with her most recent high-profile relationship being with Bad Bunny, with reports of a split towards the end of 2023.
