Renowned actress Elia Zaharia has revealed the reason why she still uses the last name of her ex-husband, Prince Leka, on social media after their sensational and violent separation.
In a video published on Instagram, the actress explained that she has been trying to remove Prince Leka's surname for 2 years, but says it didn't happen due to a technical problem.
Elia Zaharia stressed that he has contacted an IT company to remove it, but so far it has not worked.
She also had a message for people who are "bothered", saying: "Let them think it's Geraldine's last name."
"I still keep it because it won't go away, it's not up to me. I've been trying for over two years, at more than three very well-known IT companies, to change it, and it doesn't work."
I don't know what's blocking it. It's something technical that even the Instagram and Facebook teams aren't addressing. It has nothing to do with my desire or will. It's been left like that, I understand that many people may be annoyed and upset. But it has nothing to do with my will or desire. In every job I've done, I've had my last name, Zaharia. I haven't worked with any other last name.
"For those who may raise questions, until it is resolved, let them think that it is Geraldine's surname, the girl's. We have to be in the promotion of work, so I have not opened another Instagram. It has its own difficulty, but it is not impossible," the actress said.
