This week a new section titled "Charity Activities" has opened on Chiara Ferragni's website. This was announced by the entrepreneur herself through a status on Instagram: "The companies TBS Crew Srl and Fenice Srl (the two companies involved in the Agcom procedure for unfair commercial practices in collaboration with Dolci Preziosi for the sale of Easter eggs, signed by Chiara Ferragni) announce that they have created, on the respective websites www.theblondesalad.com and www.chiaraferragnibrand.com, an informative section 'Charity Activities', exclusively dedicated to detailing all the charitable initiatives that they can to develop", the statement says. "This section will be updated with information received from the beneficiary entities on the progress and results achieved with those initiatives."
The entrepreneur also announced that on August 28, she made the first payment of 400,000 euros out of the three payments planned for the social enterprise "I Bambini delle Fate", which was addressed by the charity initiative in collaboration with Dolci Preziosi. On July 4, Agcom closed the investigation, opened in January, to prove that the information with which the Easter eggs signed by Chiara Ferragni for the years 2021 and 2022 were advertised and sold did not mislead consumers into thinking that , with their purchase, have contributed to a donation to "I Bambini delle Fate".
Agcom concluded the case by accepting a series of commitments signed by Chiara Ferragni's companies, which must donate, over three fiscal years, at least 1.2 million euros to "I Bambini delle Fate". In addition, the companies have committed to guarantee "the complete separation of the commercial operations of the company from the charitable activities, which will continue to be carried out", as Chiara Ferragni had explained on Instagram, announcing the establishment of new internal rules for the activities of communication and marketing.
Also, the case of "Pink Christmas", launched for Christmas 2022 in collaboration with Balocco, has been closed, for which the companies TBS Crew Srl and Fenice Srl were fined one million euros for fraud: consumers were deceived into thinking that, with the purchase of the dessert, they were contributing to a donation to the Regina Margherita hospital in Turin (for the purchase of a device for children with cancer). On July 4, Chiara Ferragni's lawyers filed a waiver of appeal against the fine.
