The couple was seen relaxing, with Macron trying out the Jet Ski and Brigitte enjoying the sun on deck with her friends.
This appearance comes after several unusual episodes between the couple that attracted media attention. On a visit to the United Kingdom, Brigitte ignored Macron's hand, preferring the railing of the stairs, while in Vietnam she was seen gently pushing him with her hands.
The president called it simply "a joke between them," noting that they have a habit of teasing each other.
