The status of "Strategic Investor" in our country was and is being used strongly by the government to reward its loyalists. Although the intention was to encourage foreign investment, in fact we got investors who were criminals and people of art. One of them is the actor Gaz Paja, who bought land on the coast.
The actor has spoken for the first time about this and his justification was brilliant. Invited to the "Garage Lock" podcast, he said that the residents of Dhërmi themselves begged him to invest there.
" The strategic investor is about a situation that I did not fall on the neck of the state like any citizen of the republic. I was given the opportunity to find some land with some residents of Dhërmi, I asked for the help of some of my private friends to enter them I did not get the investor, but the companies that met the conditions set by the government.
Not for nothing, in Tirana today, every builder pays the 8+1% state tax to classify which builder is the best. So I didn't do it, but I said I have a land, "will you come and get it?", if he takes 9 lek, I take 1. Because I don't have the opportunity to develop a construction and I don't even know about it. I just tried out of the kindness of the public on the ground who told me 'we can trust you to be a good guy, find us a builder'. This is how history was born!
When an unknown citizen has the right to this, why shouldn't I? That's it! Even from the news, I was unfairly penalized by the state, reducing the benefits I claimed. Again, I don't care. The papers are there, whoever wants to come and check them and understand that I am very clean in this aspect ," he said.
