In recent days, a sequence from the show "Politiko" with moderator Kushtrim Sadiku has gone viral on social media, prompting numerous reactions and speculation about his condition during the broadcast.
The footage where the moderator appeared to have difficulty articulating was interpreted by many users as a sign of alcohol consumption during the show, which dealt with a sensitive topic like the Battle of Koshare, making the situation even more controversial in public.
After several days of silence, Sadiku reacted through a Facebook status, where he apologizes for the situation created, but categorically denies the accusations of drunkenness.
According to him, the physical condition was caused by health problems with his stomach, including therapy for this and dental treatments, which have caused fatigue and difficulty speaking.
He also admitted that the decision not to cancel the show was wrong, although it was motivated by the desire to not be absent from the screen after a long, uninterrupted career.
However, his post has opened a new debate on social media, with some users questioning the authenticity of the statement itself, considering it controversial and unbelievable.
Sadiku has meanwhile emphasized his respect for the show's theme and announced that he will continue his activity on screen.
