Arabs make the offer of the century to Max Verstappen, almost 264 million euros

Max Verstappen could leave Red Bull for Aston Martin. This is because Aston Martin has made what is being called the "offer of the century". According to "La Gazzetta dello Sport", the Dutch driver has been offered a whopping sum of 264 million euros.

Verstappen will benefit from this amount of money from a 3-year contract. So in the 2026, 2027 and 2028 seasons, the Red Bull "star" could be part of Aston Martin. Meanwhile, for this offer, it seems that the "brain" has been the sovereign investment fund in Saudi Arabia, the Public Investment Fund (PIF).

The latter own 20% of Aston Martin Lagonda and of course they want to spend the money to bring a "star" like Max Verstappen to the team. The latter's annual salary will increase from 50 million euros to a full 88 million.
