"No one wants it", Germany receives endless criticism for the pink

A video in response to the criticism that social media users have made of Germany. The "Pancera" national team, in cooperation with the technical sponsor "Adidas", had presented a pink uniform, usable as a guest within the upcoming European Championship "EURO 2024".

The pinkish-purple shade with a diamond-shaped motif did not go down well with the public. A "barrage" of criticism that forced the German Federation to respond immediately and very intelligently through a video, which was not at all effective.

" Nobody wants this jersey, it's for women," we read in some comments, while others simply say: "It's not Germany's jersey ." Statements that are filmed on video and superimposed on moving images.

In the video published by Germany, several protagonists of the German national team, such as Florian Uirtz, are seen. " I am from Germany", explains the talent of Bayer Leverkusen, together with Rudi Fëler. Even the world champion striker of 1990 (and champion of Rome for 5 years) denied the statement that it is not a "jersey for football legends ".

The away uniform certainly breaks the rules of the tough look typical of the Germans, but the Federation certainly did not expect the "barrage" of criticism. In addition to the pink-purple jersey, the uniform is then completed by the shorts and socks, which are all purple. The two colors are mixed together only on the jersey.

Nothing to clearly see in this uniform the tradition that has always characterized the first jersey, the home jersey, typical of Germany's history. The classic white shirt with 90s-style 3D characters, black, red and gold on the shoulders, with a label reminiscent of the German Football Association (DFB) logo, has remained virtually untouched.

However, no one expected that a uniform with pink and purple features could stir up so much discussion. Despite this, Germany does not change. The new uniforms will be worn in the first international friendlies, on March 23 against France, and three days later against the Netherlands.
