PSG defeated Brest 5-2 in Ligue 1, with a hat-trick from Osmane Dembele, just a day after learning they would face the same team in the Champions League play-offs.
PSG dominated the match, but initially missed several chances with Dembele, Kvaratskhelia and Barkola.
However, in the 29th minute, Barkola assisted Dembele, who scored the first goal. Donnarumma made important saves to maintain the advantage, but after the break, Brest equalized with a goal from Romein Del Castillo.
PSG responded quickly, with Dembele scoring twice in six minutes, completing a hat-trick and moving to the top of the Ligue 1 goalscoring charts.
Brest narrowed the gap with a goal from Ludovik Ajorke and had other chances, but PSG sealed the victory with goals from Gonçalo Ramos at the end of the match.
With this victory, PSG deepens their lead at the top of Ligue 1 by 13 points, while Brest suffers its second consecutive defeat.
