Italy's main striker Gianluca Scamacca spoke at the press conference ahead of the match with Albania which is expected to be played on Saturday.
The player who is active with Atalanta in Serie A, emphasized that as long as Albania has qualified for the European, then it should be treated seriously just like any other national team.
Scamacca added that he is not a slacker on the pitch, despite that label coming from coach Luciano Spalletti.
" We are a group with young players, but it is time to show ourselves. We are ready and we will show our strength in the European Championship. I feel good and I hope to help the team go as far as possible.
What scares me about Albania? It will be a very difficult game, although at this point there are no easy games. All the participating teams that are here are deserving and that means they have quality. Italy must focus on themselves and express their best on the pitch.
