The news about the organization of the European Championship of Hope (U21) 2027 by Serbia has been circulating since the beginning of March 2024. In this news, it is announced that Serbia is applying alone to organize this European. In the same news reports, it is written that Serbia "may be asked by UEFA to organize the championship together with Albania".
Serbia, in addition to crimes and genocide against Albanians, has been punished in several cases by UEFA for its racist and violent fans up to murder. As for the direct sports relations between Albania and Serbia, we do not believe that the scenes, calls, criminal for the slaughter and killing of Albanians, the attacks on our players on October 14, 2014, and the terror against the delegation have been forgotten.
Similar slogans continue to be spread by Serbian fans in matches where the Albanian teams are not involved at all. No apologies have been asked for any of this, on the contrary, they have fought "sportingly" against us up to the highest levels of sports courts.
Given that sport is often and rightly used to promote peace, cooperation, understanding and hope, falsehood, facade, propaganda and at best PR should be organized and "sold" to the public a little more professionally . So it would be good for the AFL to show whether it previously requested to organize U21 Euro 2027 together with North Macedonia, or with Montenegro? As long as we do not meet the technical requirements, we should not sell our face and ethnic interests. We have plenty of neighbors, why do we bypass Kosovo to help Serbia?
