Suspended from his national team because of a hot video. It happened in England, where Norwich's attacker, Wang Ui-jo, was accused of recording a "sex tape" with his ex-girlfriend without her consent.
In the video discovered in South Korea, the home of Wang Ui-jo, the attacker had sexual relations with the actress and singer Hyomin, of the famous group "KPop T-ARA", who was his girlfriend at the time (of two had left in March 2023).
According to Wang Ui-jo's defense, the video was leaked by a blackmailer after his financial demands were not met. The Norwich striker (on loan from Nottingham Forest) denies the allegations, claiming he recorded the video with his ex-girlfriend's consent.
However, the South Korean Football Federation has excluded Wang Ui-jo from the national team "until the facts are clarified". At this point, the forward could miss the Asian Cup, scheduled to begin on January 12. "I respect the decision of the Federation, - commented Jurgen Klinsman, the coach of South Korea, but until it is proven, I don't believe it."
