
Loriana Kuka has managed to win another medal in judo. The judoka from Kosovo has won bronze through the repechage of the Dushanbe Grand Prix, which is currently being held in Tajikistan.
In the 70 kilogram category, Kuka defeated the British, Keti-Zhemima Zherats-Brown in the final. Meanwhile, in her journey to the bronze medal, Kuka passed the first round without a fight, while in the second she defeated the Irishwoman Rashl Hauks. In the third round, Kuka was defeated by the British Keli Petersen Pollard.
A week ago at the Grand Prix in Upper Austria, Loriana placed fifth. He won bronze in Dushanbe, while the next match will be in Kazakhstan, two weeks later. The Grand Slam level competition is held there.
Loriana has European world medals in 78 kilograms. Now he is being tested in the category up to 70 kg and if he does well, then he is expected to seek the Olympic norm in this category.
With the third place in the Grand Prix, Loriana has earned 350 points for the world ranking.
