The coach of the U-21 National Team, Alban Bushi, has announced the list of 24 players invited for the two qualifying matches of "EURO 2025" against Romania and Montenegro on transfer. Ten players come from Albanian championship clubs, while the rest are active in championships abroad. There is no shortage of innovations in the U-21 National Team list, as for the first time coach Alban Bushi has invited goalkeeper Renato Beqaj from the Bylis team and striker Ermir Rashica from Skënderbeu.
On November 17, the U-21 national team will play the fifth match in group E against Romania (7:30 p.m., Superbet Arena - Giulesti), while on November 21, the Reds and Blacks will play the sixth match of the group against Montenegro, with the meeting that will be played at the "Podgorica City Stadium", starting at 15:00.
Albania U-21 is in Group E together with Romania, Switzerland, Finland, Montenegro and Armenia, as it ranks first after three victories over Romania U-21, Montenegro U-21 and Armenia U-21. The Reds have suffered only one defeat against Finland U-21.
The team led by Alban Bushi will gather on November 12 in Durrës and on November 16 will travel to Romania, where on the 17th they will play the official match against the locals. Then the team will return to Albania to continue preparations for the second match against Montenegro. The Reds will stay in Durrës until November 19 and then travel to Montenegro, where they will play the sixth qualifying match against Montenegro U-21.
Therefore, coach Alban Bushi will be in front of the journalists tomorrow at 12:00 in the conference room at the "House of Football", where he will talk about the selection of the list and the next two qualifying matches.
