MMA fighter dies on the mat from a blow (Video)

The talented Kazakh MMA fighter, 17-year-old Kanat Ahunov, died during a fight in the framework of the national championship in his country.

The Kazakhstan Championship for Children, Youth and Seniors, organized by Nomad MMA, was held last weekend and the entire event was overshadowed by the tragic death of a young fighter.

Ahunov died during the fight after being hit in the stomach, but it is not yet known if the blow caused his death, as he appeared to have started to lose consciousness moments earlier.

A forensic autopsy has been ordered following the incident.
