The Albanian national football team takes to the field today against Israel in the first match under the leadership of Italian coach Maran. For his debut on the red and black bench, the coach has chosen to trust mainly the players who were part of the team during the period led by Silvinjo.
According to data published by "Transfermarkt", the starting lineup activated by Maran has a total value of 51.7 million euros. Individual values of the players range from 600 thousand euros to 15 million euros.
The player with the lowest card value in this formation is defender Arlind Ajeti, who is valued at 600 thousand euros. However, Ajeti remains one of the historical names of the Albanian national team, as he is the only red and black footballer to be declared "Player of the Match" by UEFA in a European Championship, after his appearance in the challenge against Romania in "EURO 2016".
On the other hand, the most valuable player in the squad is Anis Mehmeti, whose transfer fee is estimated at 15 million euros. Interestingly, despite his high market value, this marks his first match as a starter for the Albanian national team.
The match against Israel is expected to serve as the first test for Maran and his ideas at the helm of the national team, while attention will also be focused on the performance of the players who carry the main weight of the team in terms of sport and finance.
