Luiza Gega is getting ready for "Paris 2024", where she will mark her third participation in the Olympic Games, after "Rio 2014" and "Tokyo 2020". Gega goes to Paris qualified with the norm, as she continues for years with the series of exceptional results.

On the eve of the Olympics, Gega reacted with a post on social networks, appearing more charged than ever.

"Exhausting journey, it was worth it", Luiza Gega ready for the

" This long journey has been very exhausting, but it has been worth every memory that I have created and that will remain there for the rest of my life. From the beginning, when the Olympic dream began, I knew that a great deal of work was needed, where among hundreds of athletes I had to be one of the best to go to the Olympic Games.

The goal was always to go with the norm because I know I wouldn't enjoy going there otherwise, and that's what happened in my first Olympics. Trust me when I tell you that I have worked so hard, so hard, to be at this level. Only my coach knows how much I have pushed myself to realize dreams that seemed impossible with so little support we had, especially at the beginning of this journey. But today I feel very proud of myself because I know that I gave my best and never gave up to make my dreams come true.

Of course there is no end to the good, but when I think from the last in Europe in my first race after 13 years I managed to climb to the top of it is something I can't explain how you feel when you say to yourself: 'I did it' . I actually wish that this year would have started better for me, that I wouldn't have the health concerns that appeared to me, but I still have faith that I can manage to create a beautiful memory from these Olympic Games.

Of course, no matter how hard I worked, I could never have made it without my family. I would never have succeeded without my coach, who has done the impossible for me, and without the Olympic Committee, which has supported me for 15 years, to continue with the Municipality of Tirana, the Tirana Sports Club, the Albanian Athletics Federation, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Education and Sports ", writes Gega.
