The Italian football Serie A continues this Sunday with the matches of the 22nd round, where Genoa, Atalanta and Sassuolo secured three important points, while the evening reserves very strong confrontations.
At the “Luigi Ferraris” stadium, Genoa defeated Bologna 3-2 in a spectacular match. The visitors took the lead first with goals from Ferguson and Otoa (own goal), but the home team reacted strongly, overturning the result thanks to goals from Malinovsky, Ekuban – former Partizan striker – and Junior Messias. On the bench for Genoa, for the second time in a row, was also the striker of the Albanian youth national team, Joi Nuredini.
Atalanta returned to winning ways with a 4-0 win over Parma in Bergamo. Scamacca scored from the penalty spot and De Roon scored in the first half, while Raspadori and Krstovic sealed the result in the second half. For Atalanta, the first 45 minutes were played by Albanian national team defender Berat Gjimshiti, who returned to the field after an injury.
At the "Mapei Stadium", Sassuolo needed a quick goal from Fadera in the third minute to defeat Cremonese 1-0.
