There are some seemingly small things that make Real Madrid president Florentino Perez different. The Madrid number one did not sign in January, nor did he pay bonuses for winning a match or advancing to another qualifying round.
But sometimes he breaks his own rules or approach. The president of Real Madrid, as reported by “Cope” and “Marca”, paid each player 250,000 euros for qualifying for the quarterfinals of the Champions League. The price has an explanation.

This comes from a conversation between the captains and the club president. It is paid for winning titles, not for specific matches, and the big prize is if success is secured in the Champions League and then La Liga. However, this season's bonuses have been negotiated, taking into account, of course, the new Club World Cup.
If Gianni Infantino's great obsession was that the awards, which were just announced by FIFA, would surpass those awarded under the new Champions League format, the Real president has made every effort for this award so that Madrid becomes the first club to lift this new trophy. Not only because he considers it to be extremely prestigious, but because it will require a great effort between June and July, with 32 clubs competing and after a whole season.
