If the Albanian National Team manages to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, Sylvinho will be the only Brazilian coach to represent his country at the major event.
A double responsibility, which the Rossoneri number one has spoken about to the Brazilian media.
"Being a national team coach is a big responsibility. It involves the entire nation and the entire country. I'm in Albania now, for 3 years we have achieved very positive results. I also received many messages from Brazilians when the qualifiers ended, who are cheering for Albania, so that a Brazilian coach can go to the World Cup. It would be something extraordinary."
In his interview, Sylvinho presents Albania and the Albanian National Team in the eyes of Brazilians.
"Albania is a very safe country. It is developing at a great speed in all aspects. The cities are very beautiful, the cuisine is also excellent. I am working and living peacefully in Tirana, with the support of the federation and the president, who is very passionate. As for the national team, we have a mix of players. Most of them play abroad, in important championships like Italy, Spain or England. I am pleased with everyone and we have had very good results."
The Brazilian journalist joked with the Rossoneri coach that he could be more famous than Dua Lipa if Albania qualifies for the World Cup. Sylvinho made a promise.
"I don't know if I'll be the most famous, but maybe we could do a duet with Dua Lipa if we qualify."
The Albanian national team will play the "Play Off" match against Poland on March 26 and, if qualified, will challenge the winner of the Sweden-Ukraine match in the final.
