The Albanian U-17 national team, led by coach Armand Dama, was defeated 4-0 by Ukraine U-17 in the match valid for the second round of League B in the European Championship qualifiers.
The match took place at the Egnatia Stadium, where the Ukrainians took the lead in the 42nd minute of the first half. The situation became even more difficult for the Rossoneri at the end of this half, when Frensi Mali was sent off, leaving Albania with one player less.
In the second half, Ukraine took advantage of the numerical advantage and scored three more goals, sealing the 4-0 victory.
After a 2-2 draw in the first match against Latvia, Albania U-17 remains in last place in the group, complicating the objectives in this stage of the qualifiers.
Negative results have also accompanied the U-19 National Team this month. The youth team played two friendly matches against Bulgaria, which they lost without scoring a single goal, while conceding four in total.
Thus, Albania's chain teams are going through a difficult period, with results on the field that have not been at the level of expectations.
