A serious accident occurred on the "Tirana-Durrës" highway in the "Marikaj" area shortly after midnight, where a young man lost his life and two others were injured.
According to the police, the Audi was driven by an 18-year-old with the initials DD, who allegedly lost control of the car and went off the road, ending up in a gas station.
As a result of the collision, the passenger in the vehicle, citizen EB, about 19 years old, lost his life, while the driver of the vehicle and the other passenger were injured and are in hospital, under the care of doctors.

At around 00:40, on the "Tirana-Durrës" highway, in the "Marikaj" area, citizen DD, around 18 years old, is suspected of having lost control of the vehicle and as a result, the vehicle went off the road.
The passenger in the vehicle, citizen EB, about 19 years old, lost his life in the accident, while the driver of the vehicle and the other passenger were injured and are in hospital, under the care of doctors.
"The investigation team continues to work to determine the cause of the accident and clarify the circumstances," the police announced.
