Details emerge from files under investigation by the Special Prosecution Office...

More statistics from the work of the Special Prosecution Office have come to light. After Veliaj's arrest, theories have once again exploded that SPAK will carry out more arrests. There is even talk that the next blow will come before the elections.

But only prosecutors know this. What we can officially say is that 20 prosecutors, together with BKH investigators, currently have 320 corruption files open.

"Pamphlet" has been publishing official data from SPAK for several days now and according to the latest information, it is reported that a total of 320 officials are currently under investigation.

These are crimes provided for by articles: 259, 260, 248, 258, 319/ç, 328/b and 257/a, of the Penal Code. That is, articles that deal with corruption, abuse of office or concealment of assets.

SPAK reports that since 2019 and until now, a total of 667 officials have been investigated, with some files being sent to trial and some being dismissed.

An interesting detail is that out of the 320 names being investigated for corruption, 14 belong to high-level positions. "For the period 01.03.2024-30.11.2024, 14 people under investigation, senior officials, for criminal offenses related to corruption have been registered," SPAK reports. Of these, 12 are men and 2 are women.

According to the law, the category of high-ranking officials includes the president, prime minister, former presidents, former prime ministers, ministers, former ministers, deputies, former deputies, etc. So it seems that there are 14 important figures being investigated by the prosecution and the signals are that we may have developments. /Pamphlet
