Analyst Preç Zogaj, said about the incinerator of Tirana, that this big corrupt affair cannot be investigated among small officials and it should go to the top of the government where it was produced.
He stated that there was an indication that the investigation into the Tirana incinerator will continue and deepen and will not stop without going back to where it started. According to him, the arrival of Duman has opened issues and affairs that have returned hope for justice in Albania.
"A big corrupt affair cannot be investigated among small officials, it must go to the top of the government where this affair was produced. I support SPAK as an institution, but not everything in SPAK is up to public expectations. With the arrival of Duman, SPAK has opened several issues and affairs and has made a qualitative leap and has returned hope to Albania. SPAK is daring to take the law where it has never been in the higher spheres, it is daring to punish the unpunished... From this point of view, I see a hope. That doesn't mean I'm naive.
It's been a year since we saw an apology as if this so-called Tirana incinerator has no problems. The opinion has been bombarded with PR that Tirana is cleaner and with the investigation that has started for the so-called incinerator, the advocacy that Erion Veliaj has done in this case has also fallen. We see that the big rabbit sleeps here, not only the amount of 400 million euros, but also the number of accused officials and in this "train" is the dome of the incinerators and the municipality of Tirana.
Here we must distinguish the double standard of the media and SPAK. Most of the media in Albania have partnerships with the institutions that have money, are closer to the municipality than the government and have left this issue as secondary news.
I have an indication that this investigation will continue and deepen, it does not stop without going back to where it started. The investigation will go to the end", said Zogaj on "MCN TV".
