Today, the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime has officially charged Socialist MP Plarent Ndreca. It is known that Ndreca has been informed of the charge, which is related to the investigations for the tenders for the reconstruction of the police stations.

Two days ago, SPAK prosecutors interrogated the former Minister of the Interior, Sandër Lleshaj, for more than 1 and a half hours. According to reports, Lleshaj was summoned in the capacity of a person who has knowledge of the issue of tenders under investigation by SPAK.

But if Lleshaj has been summoned as a person in the know, his former General Secretary seems to be in a more difficult position in relation to the SPAK investigation.

Plarent Ndreca held several important positions in the Rama Government before taking the post of General Secretary of the Ministry of Interior. He also held the post of General Secretary of the Ministry of Education, as well as General Secretary in the Ministry of Environment and Tourism.

During the time he was in the post of General Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Plarent Ndreca was accused by the opposition in relation to the abusive tender of 28 million euros for State Police uniforms. At that time, SPAK took only 10 ordinary officials of the Ministry of the Interior as defendants, and the investigations did not extend to Plarent Ndreca, nor to his former boss, Sandër Lleshaj.

Ndreca took the mandate of the deputy in January of this year, after the seat left empty by the former deputy. the fugitive prime minister, Arben Ahmetaj. Ahmetaj's mandate belonged to Dallandyshe Bici according to the preferential vote of the 2021 elections, but she rejected it.
